Ornamental Iron & Aluminum Fence Installation in Middle Tennessee
Ornamental Fencing for Middle Tennessee Properties
Ornamental iron and aluminum fencing is the standard for front yards, pool enclosures, and estate perimeters across Williamson County. In Franklin, Brentwood, and Nolensville, ornamental fencing is often the only type allowed in front yards by HOA covenants. It provides security and boundary definition without blocking the sight lines that make these properties attractive.
We install ornamental aluminum exclusively for most residential projects. Aluminum delivers the classic wrought-iron look — the vertical pickets, the decorative finials, the elegant lines — without the rust, corrosion, and ongoing maintenance that real iron requires. Aluminum panels are powder-coated at the factory for a finish that resists chipping, fading, and weathering in Middle Tennessee's humid climate.
For commercial properties, estate perimeters, and applications where maximum strength is required, we also install steel ornamental fencing. Steel is heavier, stronger, and more resistant to impact than aluminum — but it requires more maintenance over time. We'll advise you on which material makes sense for your specific application.

Ornamental Fence Applications
Front yard fencing — the most common use in Franklin and Brentwood. Low-profile ornamental panels define the property boundary and add curb appeal without obstructing views. Available in 36", 42", 48", and custom heights.
Pool enclosures — all our ornamental installations can be built to Williamson County and Maury County pool code requirements, including self-closing, self-latching gates and minimum height specifications.
Estate and property perimeters — for larger properties in Brentwood, west Franklin, and rural Williamson County, ornamental fencing along the road frontage provides security while showcasing the property. We pair ornamental perimeter fencing with custom driveway gates for a complete estate entrance.
Garden and landscape borders — decorative ornamental sections to define garden beds, terraces, and outdoor living areas. Available with decorative scrollwork, rings, and custom finials.

Why Aluminum Instead of Wrought Iron?
When homeowners ask for a “wrought iron” look, what we actually install in nearly every case is powder-coated aluminum. It’s lighter, won’t rust in Tennessee’s humidity, and carries a 20–25 year warranty against finish defects. Real wrought iron requires regular painting and rust treatment to survive Middle Tennessee weather, and most modern manufacturers don’t even produce it for residential applications anymore. Our ornamental aluminum delivers the same classic look with none of the rust maintenance.
Pool Fence Code in Middle Tennessee
If your fence is enclosing a pool, it must meet Tennessee’s pool barrier code: minimum 4 feet tall, gaps less than 4 inches, self-closing and self-latching gates with the latch 54+ inches from the ground. Both Maury and Williamson County enforce this. Every ornamental aluminum fence we install around a pool is code-compliant by default — 4-foot, 5-foot, or 6-foot panels with correct picket spacing and SafeShield gate hardware.
Ornamental Aluminum Cost in Middle Tennessee
Typical installed costs:
- 4 ft residential aluminum (pool-grade): $50–$70 per linear foot installed
- 5 ft estate-style aluminum: $60–$85 per linear foot installed
- 6 ft commercial-grade aluminum: $75–$110 per linear foot installed
- Driveway gates (custom): $2,500–$8,000 depending on size and automation
Common Aluminum Fence Questions
Will it really last as long as iron? Yes — longer, in Tennessee’s climate. Aluminum doesn’t rust, and the powder coating typically outlasts paint on traditional iron by 15–20 years.
Can I get colors other than black? Yes — bronze, white, and dark green are stocked. Special-order finishes (custom RAL colors) are available with a 4–6 week lead time.
Is aluminum strong enough for security? Residential-grade aluminum is plenty for property definition and pool barriers. For genuine security applications — commercial perimeters, protected access — we offer a heavier 6 ft commercial profile with reinforced rails.
